This device will pay for itself FAST. I wonder why nobody invented this sooner. Over the years I've had tools and parts fall out of my company trucks costing my company THOUSANDS of dollars and we've had insurance claims from items falling out of trucks and damaging cars on the road. Now there is NO EXCUSE for anyone to leave the door open. Installation took at most 5 minutes. The mobile app is more useful than I thought. Drivers can tell if their door is open (or has been opened) from about 500 feet away. My warehouse manager can tell if truck doors are open too before the trucks leave the shop or at the end of the day. App alerts him on his phone. It is very worthwhile. Not sure how long the batteries will last (manufacturer said about 2 years) but they are low cost and easy to replace.
